So I punched him in the gut. I figured at the very least, it would allow him to add to his growing list of exploits with the train system, not to mention that in the process, he would recognise me.
He didn’t recognise me.
After a good 3-5 seconds of staring directly at me, with a horrified look, he still hadn’t recogised me. I came to believe then (and am still open to the possibility that), that this was not in fact Nathan at all, but a clone, who did not know me at all. My raucous laughter faded, at which point Nathan’s facial recognition skills finally kicked into gear. The rest, as they say, was history, in that it happened in the past.
