Seriously the whole thing reminds me of how WoW raiding guilds handle people leaving especially when your a decent player.

I think I was telling Sunny with a U ages ago about it. Here’s a perfect if real world example of what happens.

I like how the NRL CEO, or atleast I think it was him, was worried that the NRL may become a feeder competition to other codes and didn’t want that to happen. Guess what. With a salery cap thats exactly what happens.

A salery cap simply homogenizes the skills across and within the competition. So yes players will leave and it is desired that they leave if their true market value is above what can be offered under a salery cap. Otherwise the players reduced amount of pay becomes in essence an increase in that teams salery cap.
